Hello, My name is Karen Lopez Robinson

I am originally from Nicaragua but I was raised in Philadelphia. I moved to New Jersey a few years ago with my husband and children. I graduated from Eastern University with a degree in clinical counseling and a focus in Trauma. I love helping others; specifically helping others achieve their goals. I believe that we all have a purpose and a unique contribution to the world and I love to learn what that is for others. No one can do what “YOU” were meant to do! Life can get complicated, but we are never alone. I feel extremely blessed and honored to walk along with others on their journey of enlightenment.

I work from a collaborative, strengths-based approach; assisting and supporting clients to be the author of their own lives. I believe in working in partnership with clients to utilize their strengths to help them sort out their challenges and achieve their goals. In realizing how important it is to identify all aspects of an individual’s life that impact their well-being including their physical health, support systems (family, friends, etc.), work or school environment, and faith/spirituality in this process; I consider the importance of the surrounding systems, adversity, and stigma clients may face and how this impacts therapy. I’m passionate about collaborating with individuals, families, and couples to bring them closer together through therapeutic work and help them have fulfilling relationships.
